Is ZestPlate free to use?
Yes, ZestPlate is completely free to download on both the iOS App Store and Google Play Store. You get full access to all 3,600+ healthy recipes with no hidden subscription fees.
Does the ZestPlate app support offline viewing?
Yes, once you load recipes while connected to the internet, they are cached locally on your device so that you can view ingredients and cooking instructions even when you are offline.
Can I toggle metric units for ingredients?
Yes, inside the Settings panel under your Profile, you can toggle Metric Units on or off to convert recipe ingredient measurements to grams/ml or ounces/lbs.
How does the WhatsApp checklist export work?
On any recipe page, you can tap to select/deselect the ingredients you need, and then tap 'Send to WhatsApp' to instantly export the checklist formatted directly into a WhatsApp chat.
Where does the recipe data in the app come from?
All recipe data in the app is scraped and synchronized in real time from our official main website, zestplate.com, ensuring accuracy and freshness.
How do I request my account to be deleted?
We support data privacy and deletion. You can request account and data deletion by navigating to our Account Deletion page or emailing support@zestplate.com. We process deletion requests within 48 hours.
